Motor Point Acupuncture: Head, Neck & Upper Extremity Assessment & Treatment Strategy + Dan’s NFL Protocols

COURSE DATE: OCTOBER 21st 2022 – OCTOBER 23rd 2022!

FYI beginners: If you’ve not taken a Motor Point Acupuncture seminar with Richard & Dan before, please note that you can get a discount code to access Richard’s “Core essentials” lecture on Podia.

So what’s new?

We’ll be covering motor points and trigger points for the first time ever.  Head aches and migraines can be a combination of entrapped occipital nerves and trigger points. Shoulder pain that is not resolved with motor points can often be due to trigger points in the infraspinatus and deltoids or the coracobrachialis. Tennis elbow can be perpetuated by trigger points that are not releasing with motor points only. If you want to be able to treat the patients who are not getting better with just motor points you must learn to find and release the trigger points that generate pain and cause joint dysfunction. Learn how to palpate and treat trigger points with a gentle dry needling approach that Richard has developed over time.

In addition, we are thrilled to have Dan cover some more nerve trunk needling, plus some of his favorite protocols that he uses to treat professional athletes.

So who is this seminar for?
This seminar is for qualified practitioners who are focused on treating acute or chronic pains and who work with professional or amateur athletes that would like to increase their performance and get reliable and measurable results!

Motor Point Acupuncture is highly effective and can produce fast and lasting results in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

This will be a 3 day seminar packed with awesome information!

This seminar will assume some knowledge of anatomy so that we can get further into the actions of the muscles. We will send you a link to where you can review the anatomy listed.

About the speakers

Richard Hazel received his Master of Science in Acupuncture – Orthopedic & Sports Medicine at Pacific College in New York. The program focused on the location and treatment of motor points for the treatment pain and improved neuromuscular function. Richard has also studied Neurofunctional Electric Stimulation Acupuncture under Dan Wunderlich, LAc  and the theories and methods of Dr. C C Gunn and Dr. Janet Travell. Richard’s private practice in NY focuses on treating chronic pains and injuries and improving performance by assessing muscle imbalances and decreased range of motion. He gets excellent results with only a few treatments necessary by keeping the focus on restoring the function of the limbs, joints or spinal segments, instead of attempting to merely treat local pain.

Dan Dominguez is a distinctive force of nature for Buffalo’s orthopedic and athletic scene. A long history and devotion to sports medicine has helped Dan hone his craft of acupuncture and motor point therapy and provide the most specialized care for his professional and amateur athletes.
